The gnomes Pinkeltje and Pinkelotje are visiting Dick Laan, the writer of the books about them. In a meanwhile, two assistents of professor Ludwig von Cleve found where the other Pinkels live and kidnapped some important Pinkels. Professor Ludwig von Cleve puts them in a doll house to expreiment on them. Dick Laan, Pinkeltje and Pinkelotje made up a tricky plan to rescue the captured Pinkels.
While the residents of Runichem are busy preparing for the approaching centenary, an art theft takes place in a villa. The same evening, an officer is shot at an alcohol check. When Wilbur tries to call home from the community center that night, the phone interferes and he hears a fragment of a conversation related to criminal activities. Wilbur and his friend Aristides decide to investigate this mysterious case, with the help of Akkie, daughter of inspector Swaan, and grandfather Quarles. This film is based on the second season of the Dutch tv series 'Q & Q'.
The story of Operation Market Garden—a failed attempt by the allies in the latter stages of WWII to end the war quickly by securing three bridges in Holland allowing access over the Rhine into Germany. A combination of poor allied intelligence and the presence of two crack German panzer divisions meant that the final part of this operation (the bridge in Arnhem over the Rhine) was doomed to failure.
Hansje, a ten-year-old boy, is home alone because his parents have to work during Christmas. His mother is an actress in a Christmas play and his father is a conductor of a Christmas concert. Hansje himself has a bad cold and spends the day making drawings until he discovers a small Christmas angel in the Christmas tree. The angel is looking for Pleasure on earth. To explain what Pleasure is, the Christmas angel takes Hansje with him, floating through the air, in the drawings that Hansje made of his hometown. They visit the Christmas play where his mother will perform, his school friend Geesje, a girl whose rabbit will be on the Christmas menu and some girls who go on a holiday to escape the cold. They also see old Mr. Biggelaar, who walks lonely through the city.

Burgler and master safe-cracker Glimmie is asked to find a young woman called Fanny by her rich stepfather Van Borsen. However, Glimmie remains suspicious of the man and decides that Fanny has to be protected by him and his pal 'De Bonk'. He is soon proved correct and winds up a scapegoat in Van Borsen's scheme. After his release from prison, Glimmie plans his revenge with some help from a young cleaning girl called Slofje.
After a year's trip around the world, twenty-year-old Daniël comes home where a surprise awaits him. In his absence, his boring bourgeois parents have become completely captivated by the sexual revolution. In their new trendy clothes and their 'groovy' white interior, they make sexual freedom a mockery. This upsets Daniël so much that he flees again. This time to the 'peaceful, unspoilt countryside'. Disillusionment awaits him there too. Frustrations and sexual obsessions appear to be just as intense there as in the big city.
