This impressionistic film captures the uniqueness of life and creativity. An experimental feature comprising 40 distinct acting roles, each captured on its own 16 mm film roll, offering a kaleidoscopic mosaic of human traits that fluidly crosses comedy, drama, and documentary styles. Rather than following a conventional narrative, it presents standalone character portraits that collectively inspire creative artists to define and communicate their vision clearly.
Líba has only one birthday wish every year. She insists that the whole family come together for her celebration, which they all always do. That is, until this year's birthday. Her son Petr has other plans for this year, so he pretends to be sick in front of the family. This year, for the first time, he wants to spend his birthday with his friend Karl, who has a birthday on the same day. And Karel is Peter's long-hidden secret for the rest of the family. However, Líba is not going to give up her celebration so easily. She decides to surprise Peter and move in with the whole family. An unexpected visit forces Peter to quickly improvise. In front of your family, turning your friend Karel into a colleague from work and his sister Veronika into your girlfriend is basically a piece of cake. But Petr doesn't know yet that this is just the beginning and today will be one big rollercoaster ride.
King Jakub and Queen Anička’s family grows with their curious daughter, Princess Johanka, who loves spending time with her kindly grandfather Karaba the potter. Meanwhile, exiled advisors Lorenc and Ferenc manipulate the inexperienced Queen Julia from a neighboring realm to enact revenge, luring Karaba into a cunning trap. Now the royal family and their allies must join forces, perhaps even dusting off Karaba’s hidden skills, to outwit the schemers.

Tonda Blaník announced his presidential candidacy, promising, for example, butter and lithium for every family or corruption accessible to all, and even collected 100,000 signatures. However, he ultimately did not submit his candidacy for the presidency when his assistant Žížala failed to deliver the signature sheets to the Ministry of the Interior on time. Nevertheless, Tonda Blaník continues in his efforts to save the Czech Republic and show its inhabitants how to live better. The feature film follows on from the successful series Kancelář Blaník.
