Because of Mirel's unrequited love for Yura, she has not been able to fall in love with someone else for 11 years. Desperate to meet her love, she decides to become a nun. Mirel sings in the choir of the Catholic church, where Yura comes to arrange his wedding.
An insurance agent, an accountant, a digital gravedigger, a homeless accordion player, a typography designer and seven other completely different people meet at a cooking class. Father and son are driving a car through a monotonous, endless, cold autumn landscape. Their paths will all cross and life will never be the same again. Ultimately, each of them will understand what it means to be an angel on this cruel, dry, gray earth.
