Hunter × Hunter: The Stage is a new upcoming play coming to Japan in May of 2023 and will be playing from the 12th - the 28th.
Based on the popular Japanese manga series "Ginga -Nagareboshi Gin-" by Takahashi Yoshihiro, this stage musicals follow the story of an Akita dog Gin, the son of the mighty hunting dog Riki.
Ash Lynx, a 17-year-old boy, is the boss of a street-kids gang in New York. One day, a man who was murdered before his eyes entrusts him with something. And the last words uttered by that dying man was the phrase, "BANANA FISH". That is the word his brother, Griffin, often mutters. Ash has a destined encounter with Eiji, a kind Japanese boy who comes to New York as a cameraman assistant.
It's the fifth stage play of "Kimetsu no Yaiba" and it's the sequel of "Kimetsu no Yaiba 4 - Yukaku Sennyu"; it focus on the Swordsmith Village Arc. Due to poor health, Shogo Sakamoto had been replaced by Shohei Hashimoto as Tanjiro Kamado. And Yojiro Itokawa will play Zohakuten.
