Salha is divorced from her cousin Abdul Rahman. Despite their divorce, he lives with her in the same government house and has another wife. As Salha owns half of the house, he cannot sell it without her consent. Many funny situations occur between them because of her jealousy of her ex-husband’s wife.
A comedy television series, consisting of separate connected episodes, and in each episode one of the stories of folklore, Arab heritage, or world famous tales is addressed, and re-presented in the form of a comic, with a song that expresses the course of the story in each episode.
The film revolves through several overlapping characters; it presents one of the Bedouin living in the UAE without citizenship, and another Palestinian who lived in Sabra and Shatila in the early eighties, and is nostalgic for her homeland. Steeped in existential and philosophical questions.
