While shooting a documentary about “missing” civill servants a filmmaking duo stumble upon Charoula, a desperate, overprotective Greek mother searching for her missing civil servant son. But when his name is linked to government fraud with a foreign female accomplice, Charoula sets out her other, disabled son, Lefteris to clear his name. With the help of a Greek African taxi driver and a less than helpful antifa group of misfits, the documentary duo follow Charoula on her quest to find and bring him back home where he belongs, even if it means discovering who her son really is.
A person, in the case of "Iphigenia" a girl, sacrifices part or even her whole ego to become a member of a new social ensemble and specifically of the social ensemble of her future husband. The film is inspired by the theater of the absurd and mainly by theatrical texts by Ionesco and Pinter but also by the original myth of Iphigenia which symbolizes sacrifice.
Vera is anxious about her first night out with Lola. Lola is trying to be there for Vera but gets easily distracted. While they’re both struggling to connect, their minds will escape to the beginning of the night, where things between them were still intimate.
The film is a portrait of an ordinary family, as each of its members tries to manage their own little secrets.
A minefield by the Evros River. The border. A platoon of sappers are struggling to clear it. Yannis is among them. Gangs transfer immigrants and refugees across the border-river. Sometimes the minefield breaks its dark silence. Chryssa, who takes the children across, will stumble on Yannis. Challenging death is their common fate. She will be lost. Yannis will stay behind trying to understand what love is, through a miracle.
