Angeliki is a young girl who works as an answering machine in a small company in the city center. Through her work develops a special relationship with an elderly woman, Sophie. Inside from Sophie's fantastic stories, Angeliki will review some situations of her life.
A person, in the case of "Iphigenia" a girl, sacrifices part or even her whole ego to become a member of a new social ensemble and specifically of the social ensemble of her future husband. The film is inspired by the theater of the absurd and mainly by theatrical texts by Ionesco and Pinter but also by the original myth of Iphigenia which symbolizes sacrifice.
Thanasis decides to sell the house he lives in to get rid of his loneliness. But when he "opens his door to the world" his plans will change.
