In the 1960s, the film production company Lisa Film, headed by Karl Spiehs, ushered in a new era in German film: the erotic film. This period, characterized by change and openness, produced numerous successful films that had a lasting impact on the genre in Germany and captivated audiences.
Hubert and Staller find the first body in the forest, the second practically falls into their laps. The trail leads to a retirement home, of all places. Gigi Poltera's best days are behind him – just like "his" EHC Arosa. While the hockey club is facing bankruptcy and forced relegation, the soon-to-be 50-year-old is working his way through the valley as a postman. Twenty years ago, he was one of the stars in Schanfigg – as part of the championship team of the local skating club. The stars of yesteryear are now called upon to fill the gaps in the team. Gigi's friend Sturzi decides to make a comeback and persuades his former teammates, who have put on weight, such as the village priest, to join him. Gigi also digs out his skates in the hope of winning back his ex-wife Jenny and impressing his son, who is considered a talented goalie.
Finally out again. The attempt to cheat his boss out of a truckload cost haulage driver Oswald a year of his life and his job. Now it's back home to the prefabricated building. It's just in time that Oswald's buddy Karl knows about trophies made from old D-Mark coins. In the iron foundry on the outskirts of the city, old coins worth several hundred thousand Deutschmarks are regularly stored for further processing - virtually unguarded. As the old coins can still be exchanged, this is a small but sure coup. While Karl is still laughing at Oswald's naivety, he is already beginning to put his plan into action. In a series of tragic and absurd situations, he recruits a team that couldn't be more different, from doped athletes to hated ex-Stasi men. They are united by their desire to use the money to make a difference.
In 1952, four passionate bobsledders - Gamser, Franzl, Gustl and Leusl Peter prepare for the Winter Olympics in Oslo. There, the veteran Bavarian Gamser wants to finally put his archrival Dorfler in his place and show him his class. While the two men constantly get into your hair, the women Rosi and Anna try to calm things down. In Oslo, there is finally a big showdown, which will take place not only on a bobsled.
Die ProSieben Märchenstunde is a television movie series that has been produced since 2006. It features characters that are exclusively portrayed by German and Austrian comedians and actors. The series is shot in Prague. The screenplays have - amongst others - been written by Tommy Krappweis, Erik Haffner and Norman Cöster who came up with the stories of Bernd das Brot. Additionally, they are directing and have cameo appearances. Many actors use their respective dialect. Die ProSieben Märchenstunde was nominated for the German Comedy Award in the category Best Comedy in 2006. It is also broadcast on Austrian television channel ORF, which is co-producing the series, airing the programme as Die ORF Märchenstunde.
