A police officer finds himself worthless as he soon realizes there's no way he could put an end to a businessman associated with running a prostitution ring.
In Upper Egypt's Dishna, Kamel works as a primary school teacher, who denounces the behavior of his brother Sayed who reports the gang of Mahmoud al-Hawari to the police. The gang decide to take revenge by attacking a group of houses, including Sayed's house, killing him with his wife.
