In 1960s Paris, an American boxer stumbles upon an international fascist conspiracy that aims to create a new world order.
A couple of beautiful girls are murdered while sunbathing at a luxury hotel. The killer too is murdered, but able to reveal – before dying - that they were disposed of because the “knew too much”. Something bad is being planned in Beirut, and it has something to do with a man called The Sheikh, who has only four fingers. It seems this isn’t a lone incident. The Sheikh is also thought to be behind the assassination of several prominent scientists.

July 13, 1389. On the initiative of the Mayor, warned by a famous astrologer, the town of La Rochelle is getting ready - 400 years in advance! to celebrate the Fête Nationale with dignity! But the English, who already held almost every square in the Kingdom of France, set their sights on La Rochelle. The enemy fleet cruised off the coast, and while preparations for the festivities continued, orders were given to stretch the enormous chain that was to block access to the port between the two towers. However, this complicated maneuver and responsibility fear to provoke countless avatars.... The fatuity of the captain of the guards, Thimoléon, the reckless coquetry of the governor's daughter, Hiildegarde, the thick stupidity of the adjutant, the deceitfulness of the traitor and the scheming of a mysterious Scotsman lead the city to the brink of the abyss, while the people, excited, stage a fleeting riot in which the daughters of La Rochelle will have the last word.

Jacqueline, who lives in the country, has organized her life around her husband, whom she loves, and her lover, whom she has taken in for a little distraction. One lonely evening, when she has taken a sleeping pill before going to sleep, she doesn't realize that an indiscreet but courteous visitor has entered her house, soon overcome by the rest of the sleeping pill in a glass of water. The husband returns unexpectedly to find his wife lying next to the stranger: "Monsieur Masure" has great difficulty in demonstrating to the husband his innocence in this affair. But he succeeds. But Jacqueline is pretty and very tempting, so the Machiavellian Monsieur Masure concocts a whole affabulation to confuse Jacqueline and her lover - by telephone - and then make the latter believe that this famous artificial sleep was not such as to have prevented her from receiving the tributes that he, Masure, was delighted to lavish on her.
A young man who lives on women meets his match in the young wife of a rich industrialist. Their affair is doomed by her taste for luxury and his dislike of her coolness.
