Somewhere in the south of Russia, Ivan and Katya live on a cliff above the sea. The years of epidemics and war are behind them. Ivan sets out on a journey to get some loot. Along the way, he meets a fellow traveler. Together, they face a long road full of surprises, mysterious characters, dangerous encounters and mysticism.
Colonel Alexander Volkov teaches at the Academy of the FSB, he is seventy, he is retired. Captain Igor Kamorin is an active operative, he is twenty-seven.
