In the unforgiving world of professional boxing, Angelo, a journeyman known for throwing fights to settle debts and support his family, balances his nights as a factory laborer with a desperate bid for redemption and dignity inside the ring, challenging the corrupt system that controls his fate.
Gem and Crystal are assigned to work in a special law enforcement operation. They are entrusted with the recovery of precious, pre-colonial jewelry which is believed to have belonged to the legendary and mythical Queen Urduja of the 1300s. In order to defeat a nemesis that they never imagined to be so closely linked to both of them, Gem and Crystal must deal with personality problems as well as the astonishing realization that they may be long-lost half-sisters and gifted descendants of Urduja herself.
Growing up, Lolong developed an affinity with animals, thanks to his parents, Gloria and Raul. They introduced him to a gigantic crocodile named Dakila, who eventually became his friend. Unfortunately, the town’s mayor made it his crusade to kill all crocodiles in their town. Lolong’s parents were murdered when they attempted to save Dakila from the mayor’s orders. After his parent’s murders, Lolong is raised by loving foster parents. He keeps his friendship with Dakila secret and longs to avenge his parent’s deaths. In the meantime, Lolong notices peculiar changes happening to himself. He notices that when he gets hurt, his wounds can heal instantly. He discovers that Karina, the town’s seamstress, possesses the same ability. Karina then tells Lolong that he was a member of a tribe that possessed the power to regenerate, just like crocodiles do. With the help of Dakila, Lolong battles an evil system in order to bring justice and peace to himself and to the townspeople.

Greg, Charity and Hope's peaceful life take a drastic turn when Greg's mother is diagnosed with late-stage cancer. Desperate for treatment, Greg gets his hands on an experimental drug made by Dra. Evangeline Lazaro and gives it to his mother. What was supposed to be the miracle cure for cancer becomes the root of an infection that grips not only Greg and his family but also threatens to spread all over the city.
Magpakailanman is a weekly anthology of inspiring stories of the GMA Network. Magpakailanman features the life experiences of famous personalities and ordinary people who loved and lost on their way to success. The show is hosted by broadcaster Mel Tiangco. The first incarnation of the show aired its last original episode on December 27, 2007 and was replaced by the E.S.P. TV series. While the succeeding show was then still under production, reruns of Magpakailanman were aired until January 31, 2008. Reruns of Magpakailanman were aired on GMA Life TV. On its 10th anniversary, Magpakailanman will return to the Philippine television, starting November 17, 2012. Mel Tiangco will also return as the host/narrator.
