The story begins in a time before the Carnation Revolution. We meet two men: one is fleeing the country, and the other helps him escape. As they run, they speak about their lives and their struggles, using music to capture each moment. Through 13 songs, we journey across the country, encountering various stories and characters, ending in the ambiguity of contemporary Portugal, 50 years later, in a reflection on the achievements and ongoing challenges.
