Viktor Hudák, Prime Minister of a small European country, is ending his career in politics and returning to everyday life. However, when his successor radically overturns all the policies that he spent a lifetime building he quickly realises there is very little power in being an ex-Prime Minister.
Nadia and Peter meet during a time when their respective marriages are falling apart. Peter’s marriage has cooled due to his wife Lenka’s work commitments in Africa, while Nadia’s husband Viktor has found new love. A chance car collision brings them into each other’s lives, triggering unexpected encounters.
They could not be more different – Cuky is a wannabe blogger, Luky a star desperate for love. The latter can get the man of her dreams only if she turns an ordinary girl into a beauty pageant queen. The catch is that the ordinary girl is Cuky.
Vojtech is going through a mid-life crisis. It seems to him that he is unnecessary in this world in every respect. He has lost his wife, his job, he has no contact with his family. His neighbour Laco, a peculiar taxi driver, becomes his guide through life. However, their trips usually end in fiasco. Vojtech wants to live a normal life, but his inability to face the hectic modern times brings many comedy plots. He cannot enjoy the company of easy women, his daily attempts at alcoholic intoxication and advice on how to pick up a woman also end in disaster. However, he doesn't give up and believes that he will break his bad luck.
