The Last Rock Band

Documentary about the trajectory of the Brazilian rock band Cachorro Grande, created in Porto Alegre, State of Rio Grande do Sul, in 1999 and imploded in São Paulo, the exact year they would have celebrated their 20th anniversary. As is the script of every self-respecting rock band, Cachorro Grande lived and survived amid contrasts and extremes. From being the greatest promise of Brazilian rock’n roll at the beginning of this century, opening shows for the Rolling Stones in Brazil, to going through open fights that shaped the band’s style and created fissures, culminating in the threat of its disbandment.

This DVD presents the record of the "Matriz" tour, with the historic show at Concha Acústica, in Salvador, where the artist received on stage the musicians who participated in the album of the same name, all from Bahia: Lazzo Matumbi, Larissa Luz, Russo Passapusso and Robertinho Barreto (BaianaSystem). Accompanied by her band, Pitty played all the songs of the album and several successes of her career.

Emicida: 10 Anos de Triunfo - Ao vivo

In his 10-year career, rapper Emicida mixed musical genres, worked with several artists, created projects in honor of other musicians and set up a company, Laboratório Fantasma, which is a record label, studio, producer of shows and a clothing brand; all of this having urban art as a principle. With the intention of celebrating this moment, he organized a historic show, with a setlist of 27 songs and 13 guests on November 20th, 2017, Black Consciousness Day.

Being responsible for all stages of the production of an album, Deck contributed to the success of artists such as Pitty, Sorriso Maroto and Cachorro Grande. The film “Tudo Pela Música” tells the story of this business and family saga - João, his wife and son, Rafael Ramos, run the company - and offers a good overview of the Brazilian music market. Testimonials from record company executives, competitors, artists and the family itself make viewers immerse themselves in the history of the music industry in recent years and its transformations.
