The film tells the story of Murat, who grew up without a mother or father. A young woman living in difficult circumstances after losing her husband leaves her infant son Murat on a bench by the sea. Osman, who is fishing at the time, notices Murat and takes him in. Unable to find someone to care for Murat, he raises him as his own son. He tells Murat that his mother is dead. Years later, Murat and his mother's paths will cross unexpectedly.
Ilir Luma, a martial arts master specialized in the Pelasgian art of "Mundije", escaped the communist regime, when he was only 14 years old. He'd witnessed the hanging of a poet in the city of Kukes, Albania. In Germany, at a Taekwondo school, he meets Ana, who became his student and his girlfriend. Ilir promised to be there for her, whenever she needs him. Thirty years later, Ana is kidnapped and sent to Mexico.
