On the eve of the big concert "Hands up!" an attempt is made on the lead singer of the legendary band Sergei Zhukov. He manages to avoid a bullet, but what if this is not a miracle, but a cold calculation, and the purpose of the shooter is to intimidate the artist?
Broom refuses the Alligator's offer to fly the whole family to the Maldives and takes his daughters, Tamara, Masha and neighbor Borya to a complex near Moscow with a five-star hotel, a swimming pool and a ski slope. However, on the spot, the company realizes that everything is not as luxurious as the Broom promised them.
Zakhar is the head of a big family who spent all his life living in a village in a private house. He is also the only one who refused to sell the land for the construction of a new residential complex. After all, not only his right to private property but also his happy memories are under threat: the old forest he knew since he was little was cut down, and the pond where he used to fish with his father was drained. Moreover, his grandson fell in love with the developer's daughter! While life seems to fall completely apart, Zakhar, together with his family, decides to stand his ground to the very end against urban developers, dissatisfied tenants of the newly built high-rise, and total injustice.
The film tells the story of the legendary Soviet boxer Valery Popenchenko, USSR and European champion and winner of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. His life was a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs - from his childhood in Tashkent’s Suvorov Military School and service as a border guard, to his first victories and failures, and his friendship with Dynamo sports society coach Grigory Kusikyants.
