Two mysterious deaths, rivalries within the Husum police team and a mysterious marine biologist who is both a witness and a suspect - Marlene Tanczik, alias Inspector Ria Larsen, faces a number of challenges in the third crime thriller in the series.
The gripping sci-fi thriller was the first German feature film to be shot in an LED studio and deals with friendship, manipulation and social media. Jackpot! Adrian and his clique are lured into an “Escape Room Adventure”. But the supposedly harmless recreational fun turns out to be a perfidious behavioural analysis experiment conducted by two scientists. In order to be able to tailor the games exactly to the strengths, weaknesses and characteristics of the clique, they have programmed an AI. And this starts to play the friends off against each other and confront them with their deepest fears – a fight to the death begins.
Lea, Steffi, Toni & Maja have vowed to celebrate each others weddings together — 26 years ago, things you do at twelve. Now Maja spontaneously invites the others to Italy. A promise is a promise! The trip begins moderately and gets worse and worse. It confronts them with missed opportunities, loss and their long lasting friendship.
A whole year went by before musician Juliane Hansen was able to put her running shoes back on — a year after her partner, Johann König, took his own life. Marlene Tanczik plays the battered but combative investigator in the second film in the Saturday evening crime series on the first channel. Christoph Letkowski plays her partner Brandt, who believes in Ria's special abilities and is loyal to her.
Young detective Ria Larsen is faced with the question of how serial killer Wernicke, who is imprisoned in a psychiatric ward, instructs brutal murders on the Husum coast. The bodies in the dunes point to a copy killer. During the investigation, Ria suddenly finds herself in a race against time and in a dangerous mind game with a ritual killer who has already destroyed the life of her predecessor.
Steffen and Lennart wake up after a long party night. Having a bad hangover they accidental kill one of the other party guests. In a series of vignettes we get to know several people who are all involved in the situation. A film about the fact that, we often expect more of others than of ourselves and how difficult it is to accept that we are responsible for our actions.
