Leha and her boyfriend Zaman work in the local industrial factory. Their lives are in danger when they find a file that documents the illegal works committed by Dato Murad, the owner of the factory.
Highlighting the culture and uniqueness of a traditional Malay wedding in a village, the story follows city girl Farah, who is forced to hold her wedding in her hometown in the village instead of having it at an expensive or high class venue. This is so that she can fulfill her promise to her grandmother. Nevertheless, to hold a wedding in a village is not an easy task as she would require the help from various people including neighbours, relatives, friends, and let`s not forget - a large amount of patience. The movie shows how chaotic a village wedding can be, but at the same time, it is what makes Malaysian culture unique.
Hairi and Fatin are close friends. Mira, who is also Fatin's best friend, admits that she likes Hairy. Fatin helps them to unite and get married. Over the years, Mira is jealous of Hairi's friendship with Fatin. Hairi's mother persuades Mira to make 'nasi kangkang' in order for Hairi to obey her. To achieve her intention, Mira is willing to sleep with the shaman.
