Verónica Bruzual, a member of the Youth Brigade of the Police Investigations Directorate, changes her name to find out the causes and perpetrators of her father's murder and her brother's disappearance. Two cases, seemingly unrelated to her investigation, put her on the trail of a powerful criminal organization. She ultimately discovers that this organization, which includes her father's right-hand man, is responsible for the tragedy that befell her family.
The religious film, based on a Christian conception, was directed and produced by Rhoda Torres, who stars in the story as "Mía Magdalena," a young woman who lived in the midst of a serious family conflict, marked by gender violence and abuse, which forced her to run away from home with her nine-year-old sister.
