In the village he visits, he meets a young woman named Zeliş. On a rainy day, Zeliş cannot return home and stays at Kenan's house. Kenan returns to Istanbul a few months later. During this time, it is discovered that Zeliş is pregnant. Unable to endure the gossip and cruelty of the villagers, Zeliş flees the village. During this period, Çavuş supports her. Upon learning that the child has been born, Kenan comes to the village and takes the child. Zeliş believes that her child was stillborn. Years later, she sees a photo of Kenan with his son in the newspaper. She plans to kidnap Kenan's son to take revenge.
