Black magician Umbul Suko trains three disciples to become powerful warriors and they use their powers to wreak havoc on neighboring villages. Nyi Roro Kidul, the Queen of the Southern Seas, also becomes involved.
Buddhist monks Kampala (Golden Casmara) and Targhu (Hans Wanaghi) are traveling around seeking knowledge and expanding their martial arts skills in the lands they visit. Once they reach Malacca, they meet Datuk Saluntung (Baron Hermanto) and his wife Lasmini (Murti Sari Dewi). Upon learning that these two monks wish to meet Brama Kumbara (Fendy Pradana), Lasmini thinks she has found a way to take revenge. These two monks first meet up with Lasmini’s students in Jawadwipa. A fight ensues. Then Lasmini shows up and orders two of her students to report to Brama. The news that Lasmini has allied herself with two monks enrages Brama, but he is able to defeat them easily. Then Mantili (Elly Ermawatie) also becomes angry. However, Lasmini cannot be found. She disappeared after losing the battle. Brama then accepts a challenge by the two monks to test his martial arts skills against theirs. They battle for three days and nights, but nobody wins.
Set during the kingdom of Majapahit after the reign of King Hayam Wuruk, the Saur Sepuh films were based on the popular radio plays in the 80s. Lasmini is raped and thrown into a ravine, but is saved by Granny Lawu. She is then taught martial arts until the granny dies. Then Lasmini leaves the mountain to find her rapists and kills them one by one. One day, she has a fight with Mantili because she is close to Bentar. Then Lasmini returns to Mount Lawu to improve her martial arts. After learning new skills, she returns to challenge all the martial arts experts and is victorious. Mantili then goes to improve his skills from Brama and challenges Lasmini. Now Lasmini is defeated.
After burying his brother, Jampang renews his fight against oppression. He starts to defend people who are forced to sell their land, by tackling Kisima, the extortionist. Kisima, who wants money to open a gambling house is furious at Jaka’s intervention. So Kisima brings in another champion, Kosim and his teacher, Komeng. Jampang defeats all of them including Kisima, who is thrown into a river full of crocodiles.
This is the second Indonesian Tarzan film with Barry Prima. The previous one was Tarzan Raja Rimba made in 1989.
Jampang is against oppression in the Cemara village. He kills Frans when the latter tries to rape and kill Rabiah. Even Ibnu, his own brother, is not spared when he commits a crime.
Reminiscent of the Rocky film starring Sylvester Stallone, Rio has to use his fists to make a living as an illegal parking man. When the parking area is taken over by the local government, Rio loses his livelihood. Mursali then helps him by offering his taxi for driving at night. Again he has to use his fists on this new job, but when he meets Lia, she advises Rio to become a boxer. So he goes to Oom Eddy’s boxing gym and his career takes off. But Lia distracts him from his training and his fights. He also forgets about his girlfriend in the village, Sinta (Ayu Azhari). His losing streak begins and then Lia dies during an abortion. So Rio goes back to his village. Oom Eddy and Rio’s friends try to lift his spirit up again. Then Rio returns to the boxing ring, and is victorious once more.
Set at the end of the Singasari Kingdom and the rise of Kediri Kingdom; there are two siblings, Arya Dwipangga, who loves literature, and Arya Kamandanu, who loves martial arts. Dwipangga steals Kamandanu’s girlfriend and runs away but gets trapped in the cave of weapon master, Empu Ranubaya, who makes him a student. Ranubaya and Empu Hanggareksa, Kamandanu’s father, are fellow students from the same school. But while Hanggareksa serves Kartanegara, the king of Singasari; Ranubaya refuses to. A messenger of Kublai Khan from Mongolia offers Kertanegara a peaceful relationship. When Kertanegara refuses the offer, the Mongolian messenger kidnaps Ranubaya.
