The main character, Rudolf, a noble and charming man of the world, is forced to move from the luxury of the big city to a rural hotel he owns with his dissolute brother Arnošt after a divorce caused by a reckless love affair. Upset by the situation, Rudolf is torn between his determination to settle down in a peaceful monogamous relationship and the temptations served up daily by the notorious reveler and womanizer Arnošt. And as if a hangover weren't punishment enough, the gentlemen also have to deal with the obnoxious and capable owner of the neighboring hotel, whom they somehow accidentally declared war on.
The charismatic and self-confident man, Karel Král, is the editor-in-chief of men's magazine. Although a chauvinistic type, he is very popular with women. However, he struggles in his personal life. He frequently argues with his ex-wife over their 17 year-old daughter Julie, who despises his new way of life. Then the consequences of his behavior catch up with him. He loses his job, and the editor-in-chief position is given to a young and beautiful woman. But his bad luck does not end there. After another fight with his ex-wife and daughter, and a woman driver crashing into his car, Karel and his best friend Cestmír have an evening of binge drinking. During the wild night, he expresses a wish to be a woman. When he wakes up the next morning he discovers that his wish has been granted.
Josef and Miluška have been married for what seems like forever. Miluška teaches areobic and cares for her husband and teenage daughter tirelessly. Their marriage, along with Josef's bankrupt publishing company, is slowly crumbling until aunt Marta - an experienced marital counsellor - comes to the rescue. She has a bold plan to fix not only their marriage, but also Josef’s publishing company. The prescription? Infidelity! They must catch each other out in flagranti.
