Aslan, a young insecure fisherman who lives on a Turkish island, finds a valuable lobster cave while diving. Knowing this treasure will bring him wealth and the prestige that he has never had in his society, he decides to keep it a secret from his cousin and best friend Yilmaz until he can properly harvest the lobsters by himself. By not sharing the secret, Yilmaz's growing suspicion conjures a series of paranoid obsessions that thrust him into a downward spiral.
Uğur and Barış are childhood friends. They run a DVD store opened by Barış's uncle Engin, who is a motorcycle manufacturer. Uğur is in love with Leyla, Barış's cousin and Engin's sister. Leyla is not indifferent to Uğur either; they occasionally meet in secret without her brother's knowledge. Leyla's greatest wish is to escape her brother's control and start a new life with Uğur. However, Uğur is not much help to Leyla in this endeavor. How can he face Engin and ask for Leyla's hand in marriage? He hasn't even managed to get his own life in order. The solution comes from Barış. They will shoot a film starring Uğur and Leyla. However, when they watch what they have filmed, they realize that this task is not as easy as they thought.
