As a child, on the eve of March 8, Vitya was hit on the head by a swing and miraculously survived. Since then, three of his friends celebrate this date every year as their friend's second birthday. But this time, the fun goes too far. The guys wives and girlfriends will have to save them from problems and the consequences of a protracted party.
Charismatic burglar Maksim gets into trouble after owing money to dangerous bandits. During the next robbery, he witnesses a desperate act committed by the apartment owner Eva, who has unexpectedly returned: she tries to burn everything that reminds her of her traitorous boyfriend, and in addition, commit suicide. Maksim decides to stop Eva and save himself from even bigger problems.
Two teams play a non-standard game. Men play against girls. They have to guess what the people of the country consider normal and what not. Participants will have to answer five social questions. The one who gave the most correct answers wins. The correct answer will be the one given by the majority of Russian residents as a result of a social survey. The crazy comedy "City Day" tells about one day in the life of the inhabitants of the provincial Lyubyakino. Celebrating the City Day, people did not notice that the president himself had planned the working trip through the town. Sudden news plunges everyone into shock and creates chaos: the mayor, the district police officer, the priest and other heroes from this place, lost in the outback, forgotten by God and progress, must, in the shortest possible time, bring the city, actively celebrating, as the last time, into a decent look, in a hurry to mask the problems from the view from the guarded cortege and to depict that this is a place of high culture of everyday life.
