A TV star and her assistant, a taxi driver, a nurse, a security guard, a lone professor and a failed husband become protagonists of a circus with natural scenery Athens. Six parallel stories over a 24 hour.
Two sisters, each for their own reasons must separate from their partner. They live in the same apartment building, together with their children. Slowly but surely they lay the foundations for their new life. Through the love that unites them, the female solidarity, their own perspective on things, they face the problems of everyday life. In Samos of 1936, the girls, along with a grandfather who is constantly telling stories and a cousin, a student from Athens, will play the “game of the kaplan”, the stuffed wildcat locked inside a showcase in the house’s parlour.
As a coincidental event unites a publisher and a hospital manager, sinister revelations entangle the couple with the aspiration of an editor-in-chief. Will he unearth the truth? After all, almost everybody has a skeleton in the closet.
