This fairy tale, based on an old French legend, takes place in the Middle Ages at the court of King Pepin. The king wants to marry and, on the advice of Duke Akilon, decides to court the Hungarian princess Bertha. Although the princess has a physical flaw—her feet are too large—Pepin does not care much about that. He remembers how he was friends with Bertha as a little boy and even then admired her bravery. Duke Akilon therefore sets off for Hungary to ask for Princess Bertha's hand in marriage for his king. However, he has his own plan and has no idea what will thwart it.
This romantic fairy tale, loosely based on an anonymous Arabic story, takes place at the sultan's court, where the evil sisters of the kind sultana prepare a cruel fate for Parisada and Pervis. Although it seems that fate favors the hateful malice of the poor twins' ruthless aunts, the fairy tale still comes to a happy ending.
The kingdom of Henry I is broke, and the ghost of his stingy grandfather Maximilian haunts the place. The king and queen lose their nerves, leave, and leave the castle and its problems to their son, the young prince Jindřich. A messenger from the Association for the Protection of Free Princes visited the castle, but Ámos is used to following orders to the letter. When he learns that the Association pays free princes 5,000 gold coins to protect them from battles with dragons over capricious or proud princesses, the messenger is already gone. The desperate prince orders his servant to be vigilant and ensure that he does not fall in love and marry. He believes that the messenger will return. However, instead of the messenger, the beautiful princess Pavlínka arrives at the castle, whose nanny predicted that she would find happiness, love, and wealth there!
A magical wizard visits a poor royal family. In exchange for food and kind treatment, he gives King Matyáš, Queen Elíza, and Princess Sylvie a magic telescope, a magic whistle, and a magic pouch that knows everything best. The princess uses the purse to pressure her parents during the courtship, when her beloved, Prince Zbyšek, arrives with his father, King Vladislav. However, the purse does not approve of the marriage, and so the courtship ends with a rift between the two royal families. But it wouldn't be a fairy tale if everything didn't turn out well in the end...
A fairy tale about a queen-witch who used magic to get rid of her royal husband and carefully guards her throne so that the marriage of her stepson, Prince Christopher, does not threaten it. Although she has him guarded, Christopher meets Princess Christina from a neighboring kingdom, and the young people fall in love.
