A wealthy and influential family hires Katya as a nurse for a dying father. Most unexpectedly, the young woman becomes his closest confidant and the only person in his life whom he can trust. Passions run high around Katya as a huge inheritance is at stake. From a modest nurse, whose only task was to care for the sick in the last days of his life, Katya involuntarily turns into an active participant of the family drama with all its hopes, fights and disillusions. It turns out that the seemingly happy and tight-knit family has its skeletons in the closet, and these secrets can come at a price of a human life.

The beginning of the 70s. Major Cherkasov and his team are investigating a new case. This time we are talking about robberies. And this is the sphere of management for combating theft of socialist property (UBKhSS). During the robberies, the bandits mercilessly kill witnesses. The robberies are well organized and well thought out. And someone very knowledgeable prepares them. The leadership decides to unite the efforts of two departments of the Moscow militia against the "outlaws": the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the UBKHS. Together they are preparing an operation to arrest the gang.
One day Dima met Julia, and they fell in love with each other. Yulia is a girl from a simple family, and Dima is the son of the oligarch Boris Chuikin. Only no one knows about this, because Dima does not bear his father's surname, is not proud of him and earns his own living. USSR, June 2, 1962. After the reduction of wages and price increases, residents of Novocherkassk went to a peaceful demonstration. But passions quickly heated up and led to a tragedy - the shooting of protesting workers, despite the protests of General Shaposhnikov. The authorities manage to hush up the tragedy, they take a non-disclosure agreement from witnesses, and all those who disagree receive prison sentences.
As a Russian gangster and music producer, Dennis had it all, but everything unravels after his wife commits suicide. He funded his wife's music career with borrowed money from the mafia, but when they come to collect after her funeral, he cannot pay. After discovering unsent love letters written by his wife to a monk named Aleksis, Dennis flees to the countryside to escape the gangsters and set things straight. The problem is, Aleksis took a vow of silence at a monastery after his wife and daughter left him and doesn’t know his wife remarried. With the mafia breathing down their necks, Dennis is determined to tell Aleksis everything, and everyone involved faces hard choices and sacrifices for the ones they love.
