A bear runs away from a hunting farm where wild animals are kept, on which hunting dogs are harassed. A half—armed, embittered beast on the loose is very scary, which is well understood by the characters of the film. It is almost impossible to catch a bear: not only is she not afraid of a person, but she knows perfectly well how to attack and how to protect herself from him. Fear for their own lives, the threat of criminal liability — this is what determines the actions of the characters throughout the film.

The main characters, however, are oblivious to the dangers lurking around them and bravely enter situations in which even adults would hesitate.
Colleagues consider architect Nesterov not a bad man and a specialist, but his wife - a loser. Having accepted her point of view, he withdrew from active life. One day Nesterov is assigned to save the project and sent on a long business trip to the town where he spent his childhood and youth. Nesterov's work is highly praised, and now he is offered to become the chief architect of this town.
Not young bus driver goes to the next trip. In this trip he recalls his childhood during WW2. But there is another danger people among passengers of the bus.
