The romantic relationship between Maťa and Veronika turns into a complicated, life-threatening triangle. They will be affected by a brutal struggle for power, in a network of intrigue and corruption in the shadow of the mafia, which does not even shy away from political murder. Thailand seems far enough away - an ideal hideout for a couple of criminals from Eastern Europe, who have no idea that they themselves can become easy prey for larger predators. How will a lone warrior who fights with the shadows of his past cope in this madness? Can some love still save him and can he realize it before it's too late? Redheaded Lila is the youngest in a friendly family of arachnids whose untamed imagination gets her into trouble. One day, she falls into a bag of flour while hunting moths, the next, she accidentally releases flies from a farm and hands over her brother's beloved guitar to a fraud. As if that were not enough, an alien spider from the Great Puddle tries to befriend her.
This romantic comedy maps out the lives of former classmates who, despite their high school days being long past, still regularly meet up. Their stories and lives are different, packed with diverse joys, woes and secrets – secrets that often lead to agitated or humorous moments. Even though each of our characters will soon celebrate their fortieth birthday, they find themselves at diverse stages of life. As we are introduced to them, Christmas is just around the corner, and so is the beginning of a new year, a year which will see their stories become intertwined more than ever before.
