1950. While some people enthusiastically build a totalitarian state, others flee from it in terror. And some disappear. Just like Jarmila, the sister of doctor Marie, disappeared. At first, there is only an almost impossible-to-prove suspicion, then the intuition of a loving sister, and so Marie sets out to follow in her footsteps.
